Entering many letters followed by an accent mark automatically Combines those two characters to render an accented character.

For example: enter e followed by ^ to get ê.

In case this is not what you intend to enter, and say for some reason you really wanted to enter e followed by ^, tap on backspacekey_string key b to cancel an automatic combine.

For some accented characters, you may need to issue a combine command (drag up left d on key A) to actually combine them into one.

You can enter hundreds of special characters by combining or auto combining two characters. For a complete list of the characters you can create, please see the last section: table_of_special_chars_string.
